Our Head of MOVPE, Dr Elisa M Sala, is presenting at the Scale-up and Specifications for Photonic Quantum Technology workshop at the National Physical Laboratory in London held on 30th-31st October.

We are holding another PhD Open Day for prospective PhD students on Tuesday 28th November at the Facility's headquarters at the University of Sheffield.

The National Epitaxy Facility has expanded into the field of heterogeneous integration with the addition of a Micro-Transfer Print Tool.

We are delighted to announce further growth of our team!

The first UK's Semiconductor Advisory Panel meeting was held on 3rd August to begin the work on delivering the National Semiconductor Strategy.

A workshop was held with industry and academia to validate the results from the recent survey identifying existing UK semiconductor capabilities, user needs, and areas of competitive advantage.

The next call for Pump Priming applications is now open with a deadline of Monday 4th September 2023.
