National Roadshows
We are pleased to announce that our UK roadshows have resumed again after Covid, with a successful visit to the University of Manchester in May. Four members of our team: Dr Zofia Bishop, Dr Ian Farrer, Dr Elisa Sala, and Dr Ed Clarke, visited the Photon Science Institute. They’ve delivered a seminar on the National Epitaxy Facility capabilities and research, and discussed individual project requirements with staff interested in engaging with the facility.
We would like to thank Dr Patrick Parkinson who kindly hosted our visit, Dr Subhasish Chakraborty with whom we’ve had a very constructive discussion, and Prof Matthew Halsall for taking us out to lunch!
The roadshows are a great opportunity for us to engage with the semiconductor community, and understand the upcoming demand for our facility, as well as new research directions and capabilities that may be needed in the future.
