The first UK's Semiconductor Advisory Panel meeting was held on 3rd August to begin the work on delivering the National Semiconductor Strategy.

A workshop was held with industry and academia to validate the results from the recent survey identifying existing UK semiconductor capabilities, user needs, and areas of competitive advantage.

The next call for Pump Priming applications is now open with a deadline of Monday 4th September 2023.

The National Epitaxy Facility hosted the annual UK Semiconductors Conference in Sheffield last week with over 300 delegates and 36 exhibitors!

The National Epitaxy Facility welcomes the release of the UK National Strategy for Semiconductors; announced by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

We are pleased to announce our UK roadshows have resumed again after Covid, with a successful visit to the University of Manchester in May.

The scheme has recently been expanded to cover a broader range of materials.
