The LRQA have renewed our ISO 9001:2015 certificate after a successful audit

Our team have attended and given talks at various conferences this summer, including in America, China, Japan and Italy, promoting new research and developments achieved at the Facility.

We are seeking investment in a new state-of-the-art MBE Cluster System to continue to provide high-quality epitaxial wafers and present novel growth capabilities, allowing for new research directions.

We are referenced in the report for our 'great strength in the area of GaAs and InP compound semiconductors', heterogeneous integration technologies and transfer printing.

The annual UK Semiconductors Conference took place last week on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th July, organised by the National Epitaxy Facility.

The outcomes from Innovate UK's Global Expert Mission are being presented at ChipStart UK Showcase on Thursday 13th June.

The visit coincided with the meeting of the National Semiconductor Advisory Board in Sheffield.

The National Epitaxy Facility's Director, Professor Jon Heffernan, attended the Innovate UK Global Expert Mission (GEM) in Semiconductors in the Republic of Korea.
