Steering Committee

The National Epitaxy Facility Steering Committee comprises leading semiconductor academics and industrialists from both the UK and Europe. It meets every 6 months with the Management of the National Epitaxy Facility to review the performance of the Facility, provide feedback and advise on improvement opportunities. The remit of the Steering Committee is:

  1. To provide independent input as representatives of the research Community on all aspects of the Facility operations.
  2. To review Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators and to advise EPSRC on the performance of the Facility.
  3. To review progress of the Pump Priming scheme, and to advise the Facility and EPSRC whether appropriate resources are being allocated, in terms of scientific potential and likely future grant generation.
  4. To advise on future scientific and technical opportunities.
