PhD Studentships available on the research and development of the epitaxy of semiconductor materials and devices

There are funded PhD studentships available based at the Facility’s headquarters in the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Sheffield. The studentships will be based on the research and development in the growth of compound semiconductor materials and devices, gaining expertise in Molecular Beam or Metal-Organic Vapour Phase Epitaxy, and various device characterization techniques. The studentships will be best suited to candidates with a keen interest in semiconductor materials, devices and characterization techniques, and a solid background in semiconductor physics or engineering.
