PhD Open Day
We are holding an open day for prospective PhD students to find out more about the Facility and studentships on Wednesday 8th May at the University of Sheffield.
The open day will consist of a (free)! lunch, presentations on the Facility and growth, a Q&A session and a tour of our labs.
The PhD studentships are on the research & development of the epitaxy of semiconductor materials and devices. The successful applicant will gain expertise in MBE or MOVPE compound semiconductor growth, and a range of material and device characterisation techniques.
We are looking for students with a solid background in semiconductor physics or engineering, and a keen interest in semiconductor materials, devices and characterization techniques.
